If you remove all the fat and water from the body,
75% of what's left
are amino acids.
Amino acids are the building blocks of
protein in the body -- chemical substances that build
the exact type of protein your body needs. We cannot exist without amino acids.
The body requires two types of amino acids - "Essential" and "Non-essential".
Essential aminos must be obtained from the diet (or supplementation). Non-essential amino acids
are the kind manufactured by the body, as needed, from the essential aminos
in your diet.
A third class of amino acid is called "Conditionally
Essential". These are
simply specific amino acids required in special amounts due to a person's
particular health condition.
An unbalanced diet,An unbalanced diet, anxiety and stress plus other factors
can contribute to disturbances in amino acid metabolism.Amino
acid metabolism disorders are becoming recognized as a major factor in
many disease processes.
Daily supplementation of amino acids in specific amounts will keep the brain and body in balance and help prevent many of these "modern diseases".
