Enzymes & Your Health
Jeffrey Bland, Ph.D., Biochemist and Director of Institute of Functional Medicine"You can eat the best foods and take the most well-balanced nutritional supplements, but if you do not digest and absorb these substances, you will suffer from malnutrition, and experience less than optimal health"

Clinical studies show that most digestive problems are due to pancreatic enzyme insufficiency. The pancreas is stressed, overworked, then problems begin to occur.
Pancreatin is a digestive enzyme that helps breakdown foods (proteins, fats, and carbohydrates) for absorption into the body.† Pancreatin is a vital enzyme produced by the pancreas. As we age, the amount and activity level decreases dramatically. Enzymes are essential to life and the human body cannot function without enzymes.† Enzymes are necessary for food digestion and absorption, strong immune system, and body movement (muscles).†
Stress affects the digestive system by reducing the amount of digestive juices and diverting blood away from digestive muscles to other muscles in the body.† Anxieties, agitation, worry, or fatigue can lead to disturbances in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract interfering with digestion and nutrient absorption.†
As we age, our ability to digest food decreases as the enzymes needed to digest foods are not produced plus the number of enzymes and their activities diminish greatly.† In Survival Into the 21st Century, Viktor Kulvinskas Viktor Kulvinskas states the physiological symptoms of long-term indigestion are numerous including: the lips become puffy and pouty, producing a sad look, the irises change color becoming darker and cloudier, a crease develops in the middle of the tongue, and bags develop under the eyes (a sign of kidney and adrenal stress).† Other symptoms include bad breath, heartburn, belching, burping, flatulence, slow stomach emptying time, abdominal bloating, constipation and/or diarrhea, skin problems, reoccurring headaches, mental fatigue, lack of energy and vitality, difficulty concentrating, and food allergies.† In the Secret of Life es B. Sumner, he states that people over 40 often "feel old" due to reduced enzyme levels in the body.†
Enzymes are the keys to proper digestion and improve overall health.†
To digest proteins you need (protease), carbohydrates (amylase), and fats (lipase), use Pancreatin 650
